The School of Form curriculum is combined with a partnership-based approach to students — built on mutual respect and trust. We help them discover their creative potential, inspire them to grow, and give them the courage to boldly pursue their dreams.

Design and the Humanities
School of Form is associated with outstanding creators and promoters of design — Agnieszka Jacobson-Cielecka, Oskar Zięta, and Arek Szwed.
As a faculty of SWPS University, School of Form offers an innovative and interdisciplinary curriculum that combines practical design skills with a humanistic perspective on the individual and society. The program was developed by a team of experts led by Lidewij Edelkoort, long-time director of the Design Academy Eindhoven. In modern, fully equipped studios, students learn both traditional crafts and the latest technologies, practicing design with people and the environment in mind.
Our approach is holistic and responsible — we see design in its social context and our students as an active part of the community. We educate conscious individuals, ready to change the world for the better. We equip them not only with design tools but also with humanistic knowledge that enables them to study needs, analyze context, and anticipate change.
Collaboration with the Community
Individual development is just as important to us as the ability to work in a team. We teach students conscious self-assessment, helping them recognize their strengths and areas for growth. We show them not only how to refine their own competencies, but also how to collaborate effectively with others.
Close cooperation with the university’s community is our priority — we are actively involved in the life of the city, the neighbourhood, and local institutions. Students undertake projects that address real social and business needs, conduct research, and develop innovative solutions. They gain practical experience, while companies and organizations benefit from fresh perspectives and creative ideas.
