I Can’t Look at It

Rotunda Gallery, Collegium Da Vinci, May 25, 2023

The exhibition I Can’t Look at It by Inka Rosocha invited viewers to pause and reflect on what is difficult, painful, and often repressed. Her photographs positioned the audience not only as spectators but as participants in a shared experience. Here, art became a space for dialogue, empathy, and courage.

On May 25, 2023, the opening of Inka Rosocha’s photography exhibition took place at Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań, organized by SWPS University in cooperation with Collegium Da Vinci. The event featured psychotherapist Wojciech Eichelberger, who spoke about the project’s emotional and social dimensions.

Referring to the concept of a “community of empathy,” Rosocha presented photography as a tool for breaking through social divisions. Her works resonated with those burdened by contemporary crises, as well as with those who had previously remained indifferent or powerless in the face of them.

The exhibition did more than move its audience. It provided a language for articulating what is difficult. I Can’t Look at It became a statement that does not close one’s eyes but opens them wider.
