A Unique Concert by Tomasz Stańko at Aula Artis

On January 19, a unique concert by Tomasz Stańko and the RGG Trio inaugurated the reopening of Aula Artis. The legendary jazz trumpeter presented his latest compositions, continuing a series of acclaimed performances across Poland. Some of these had been previously performed with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

The performance was a rare opportunity to hear one of the finest concert projects in Tomasz Stańko’s career. The quartet, featuring pianist Łukasz Ojdana, bassist Maciej Garbowski, and drummer Krzysztof Gradziuk, won praise from critics and audiences alike, receiving enthusiastic reviews.

Tomasz Stańko is one of the most important figures in Polish and international jazz. Since the 1960s, he has been constantly experimenting, drawing inspiration from the greatest masters of the genre.
