Dr. Joanna Jurga – space designer, researcher, and educator. She specializes in designing environments that promote a sense of safety, with a particular focus on life in isolation. At the heart of her work is the relationship between humans and the spaces they inhabit. She advises and teaches how to create surroundings that enhance comfort, efficiency, and mental well-being.
Dr. Jurga combines knowledge of human biology with architectural solutions that best support the body’s needs and functions. She believes that well-designed space is one that allows people to carry out its intended purpose comfortably. She explores the human–space relationship in radically changing times and external circumstances.
